The Club

The Hounds of Hell have a set structure that has always been something to be desired. Though when in proper effect this structure does indeed work wonders for the roving sept and it's people.

The structure was first concieved by the Founder, John Killdare, a philodox who believed that the MC should share characteristics with the normal positions found on a Sept or Caern. He set about finding out what exactly the Club would need and in turn made sure that he would settle people into these roles in order to bring the Club to a faster pace of progress.

The Club is the heart of the Hounds of Hell, normally they will meet withing a large black tent with something symbolic of their group, mostly a table stained with the collective's blood or perhaps it would be a standard with the three headed Cerberus upon it. Either way this is something whole gathering will touch in praise before the meeting will begin.

The Hounds will move into place depending on their roles withing the MC or Club. The president it's Alpha will be seated at the head, the Vice President next to him with the Sergent at Arms on the other side. the rest filter down until it is just the fully patched members until a circle is completed.

The Hounds normally will bring new members into the club by a way of a Prospecting, sometimes a grueling task as they consistantly watched by the members in order for the Prospects to prove themselves beyond doubt.

When the group feel a prospect has earnt enough respect to be a fully patched member they will bring the prospect's name to the table or gathering and the club will vote whether or not to bring them under the banner and give them a full patch like it's full members. they must be voted in as if someone merely lets someone take the full 'cut' (a leather waistcoat or jacket with the Hounds insignia across it) without the vote, then it is considered an insult to the club and it's other members and may even cause for that member to be thrown out themselves.

Being thrown from the MC is not a nice event. This will include their cut being ripped up or shredded before the member and for every tattoo or marking on their body to be black out by a tattoo gun or burnt off with substances and a blow torch. It is a torturous and terrifying thing that most members will do everything to avoid happening to them.

The Club is everything to it's members, treated along the links of one giant pack, though pack may still exist within it without issue. The club holds them together through the harshest of times, brother to brother and even sister to sister as women are permitted.

When it comes to breeds, it is widely accepted for all of the breeds to be a member of the Hounds under the ideal of the founder, that thought that all were of Gaia and as such all should fight for Gaia. Kinfolk are also widely viewed as good members to have in the club, however it is not so usual for the Kinfolk to hold position within the Club. However this has happened before.

The President may also give smaller patches to those members he or she may treasure, meaning different things from being trusted to being loyal or even to being the best assassin of the group or killer or wyrm spawn.

This is decided by the President who will only sometimes bring this to a vote, however these patches may also be taken away if something goes horribly wrong. In a way these patches are like a renown marking of the MC or Club's own creation.

Secondary Warder
Road Captain
Watcher
Master of Challenges
President
Vice-President
Sgt. At Arms
Head Warder

Current Officers:

Positions and Duties:

President:

This position is the Alpha of the Club or MC. It is he or she that will give the choices for the group to take to vote and also the main strategic mind of the group who will discuss the topics at hand and ask for opinions of those gathered. The President holds responsibility for the entire sept and it's workings. From delegating the tasks of the camp and sept, to working out the best course of actions and the best options to bring to the table.

Vice President:

The Vice President or 'VP' stands as the Beta of the MC or Club, providing a secondary voice to the President, also holding the gathering in the absence of the 'Prez'. The VP is also a commander out on the field when the President is not present is held accountable by the President for the actions of the club in such instances.

Sgt at Arms:

The Sergent at Arms is the person responsible for discipline within the club or the MC, he or she is also a defender of the president in the lines of danger, normally found to be by the side of the President, almost similar to a bodyguard or protector. Discipline in the club may also include bringing those who wrong the club or it's members to judgement or to the attention of the Prez or VP. Other time it may be that the Sgt. At Arms deals out the club punishments.

Head Warder:

The Head Warder is tasked with the tellurian perimeter security of the sept and the Hounds of Hell camp. Usual an Ahroun or similar, the Head Warder will lay down their lives to protect all within the patrol lines. The Head Warder will interview any trying to come into the camp, as well as setting up patrol timetables and routes with the group of chosen MC members he has as his unit of protection.

Wyrmfoe:

The Wyrmfoe is the combat commander of the MC whilst they are within camp, unless already under the command of the Prez or VP. The Wyrmfo organizes the battle plans of the MC, but not only that will also act as a Quartermaster, dealing with the storage and upkeep of the MC weaponry.

Road Captain:

The Road Captain organizes the routes the club or MC takes when out on a ride or if they are moving camp, it is their responsibility to make sure the warders of the Sept know of the plan so they can better protect the Sept on these occassions, otherwise the Road Captain will work with the Sgt at Arms. They are also responsible for the discipline of the MC and club members out on the field and may work with the Sgt at Arms when there is an incident for that member's punishment.

Watcher:

The Watcher is much like the Head Warder, but there is one massive difference between the two positions. Whilst a Watcher will also be the individual to lay down their lives in the protection of the camp, the Watcher patrols the Umbra not the tellurian. Usually a Theurge, the Watcher will employ other Theurges and spiritual Garou to aid in the massive task of protecting the camp and MC.

Master of Challenges:

The Master of Challenges is the garou that will stand as the hand of justice within the camp. Most of the time this falls to a Philodox but it can also be the role of a good Ragabash. The Master of Challenges will listen to challenges brought forward and make sure of their honorable terms and honorable circle. If a fight is needed then the Master is their overseer. But the Master will also bring any who wishs to betray justice to the attention of the Sgt at Arms, or directly to the Prez and VP.

Den Parent:

The Den parent can be known as 'mother' or 'father' to the sept's young. There to teach cubs as any Den Parent from any sept, the added task with the Hounds of Hell is teaching newcomers and 'hangarounds' about the MC and it's workings. How to survive on the road and with a band of brothers such as the MC.

Secretary:

The Secretary is the man or woman who will be a consistant voice within the Hounds of Hell gatherings. The secretary is in change of the information coming in and out of the club but also with the books, making sure the 'bills' and the members are paid their share of the totals they manage to make. Money making ideas will go through the Secretary as well as gestures of money towards the club.

Alpha Kin:

The Alpha kinfolk may regularly simply fall to the kin mate of either the Prez or VP. But when this does not happen a full patched kinfolk will be nominated before the MC's vote. The Alpha kin deals with all matters of regular life on the sept, from making sure there is food on the table to making sure all children and young are accounted for, not a job for the faint hearted.

Medical Officer:

The Medical Officer is the final say when it comes to the health concerns for the individual Hounds members. Everything from healing from combat, to the birth of children. The Medical officer has a difficult job balancing the health and pain of the MC as well as medical supply runs that can be any thing but a simple stroll in the park. The Medical Officer is usually found within the Med Tent in camp.

Proceedure Guidelines:

What happens if:

1.  A Hound of Hell refuses to follow the rules of 'Church' (includes disrespecting, refusing to be quiet, not sitting at the table, not listening)

     - After a single warning from either the President or Vice President, the individual will be removed by force if necessary by the Sgt at Arms who will then lawfully detain the individual within the Bike Trailer (known as 'Rehab') until the President or Vice President come to discuss the issue or flat order the individual to face the Philodox for punishment in accordance to the laws of the MC. These can and usually are physical punishments or renown hits.

2.  An abuse of power by an officer of the Hounds of Hell or unsatisfactory performance of an officer position.

     - If ANY Full patched member feels an officer of the MC is abusing their position they may call out an officer in Church. During any meeting the individual may basically name and shame an officer and call for an "Officer's Challenge" This will involve a majority vote around the table to see if the individual may make a better fit for the spoken position within in the MC. You may NOT volunteer another person for the position, only yourself.

3.  Unlawful mating:

     - If a Garou or Shifter of the MC unlawfully claims a kinfolk or mate within the MC, (The lawful proceedure can be found here) or if the Kinfolk wishes to be released from the pairing, but the Garou has not allowed this or refused to relent, the kinfolk may turn to ANY officer of the MC to inform them of the issue with the pairing. If not immediately the Prez or VP, the officer will turn to the Prez or VP for a final decision on a case by case nature. It will then be howled out in camp as a challenge to the mate to face the VP or Prez in a circle or relent the kinfolk without arguement. If two days pass after the circle is drawn by the Prez or VP then it defaults to a relent and the kinfolk is freed from the pairing. If the Mated Garou does face the challenge and wins then they will have the choice to keep the kinfolk or relent them. The law will stand by either final decision.

4.  Calling Scandal:

     - Calling scandal may be done before the MC by any Ragabash at any church meeting. Standing before the MC the ragabash may take the floor to name and shame the deeds of any individual within the club, producing their arguements before the nominated Philodox. The Philodox will be nominated by the Prez or VP to listen and cast judgement on the scandal as appropriate.

5.  Leaving the Club:

     - If a member of the MC wishes to leave the club then they will lay down their cuts over the church table during a meeting of the MC members. Depending on the standing of the individual they will either be wished well and allowed to leave the group without confrontation. Or if the member is in bad standing they will have their cut pulled from them, any markings of the MC will be blacked out via tattoo gun, fire or blade. Either of these three will involve the individual chained, the tattoo gun will be given by any with the skills to use one and a full patch. Fire will be done by blowtorch and a bottle of cheap whiskey and knife will involve the skin being flayed from any area with a Hounds marking. These will be done with all members that can be in attendance to watch the shame of the individual. However sometimes the Hounds have been known to perform these dark acts even without the need to remove tattoo markings and some who shame themselves enough are known to either no make it out of camp or have never gotten past a few miles down the road. The officer who over sees these procedures, apart from the Prez or VP, is the Sgt at Arms.

6.  Personal Conflicts:

     - Those with conflict between them are encouraged to sit down with an unbiased Philodox who can give judgement on the dispute that must be held to by both sides of the problem. However should it be that this is not an option or thing have gone too far, then a circle will drawn in the middle of camp under the Master of Challenges, an overseeing Philodox and the Sgt at Arms. If the combat is served honorably then the winning MC member's terms will be adhered to, if it is not then the Master of Challenges and Sgt at Arms will break up the fight, separate the individuals and both will face punishment by the overseeing Philodox after the 'Dox' has had council from both the Sgt at Arms and Master of Challenges to discuss what the two officers feel is appropriate. Depending on the punishments, physical pennance will be paid for under the Sgt at Arms hand.

7.  Serving as Prospect:

     - Becoming a prospect is a question of high consequence for the Garou or Kinfolk that decides on taking on the challenge of joining the MC. This will involve finding a full patch member who is willing not only to teach you the ways of the Hounds of Hell but also is willing to put their name and body down for you as a gesture of confidence. After being patched as a prospect you will be expected to serve anywhere from 3 months plus as a prospect. It is highly advised that any who are patched as prospects to learn as much as they can about the MC and it's laws during this time. This however will hopefully give enough time to prove yourself valuable to the MC and encourage people to stand for you when the final vote is giving at the end of your probationary period and bring you in as a full patch member. You will only enter church if expressively invited or you are performing a task during church for one of the full members.

8.  Serving as a Sponsor:

     - Becoming a sponsor is risk for any full patch of the MC. It will involve putting your name and body on the line for one of the newbies. Your reputation is at stake, any fuck ups commited by your prospect will reflect on you, you will serve every punishment, physical, social, mental or renown on behalf of your prospect. So having complete faith in your prospect is paramount. Taking on a prospect involves standing before the MC and naming your intending prospect, speaking of their values and what they can bring the MC as a member, including skills and other talents. A vote will then be taken and you will need a majority agreement of the MC to claim your prospect. You will serve your prospect with their probationary cut. They will serve under you for a period of three months or more as a prospect. When you believe it to be time after that period you may stand again in much the same fashion with your prospect invited into the church meeting to stand before the MC beside you. Again you will need a majority vote from the other members to accept the prospect in as a full member, they will be then served with their patches by the Prez or VP and welcomed as a Hound of Hell, also now accountable for their own actions.

9.  Patch Over:

     -  If a Hound of Hell comes in from another Charter to join, there is a procedure undertaken in Church before the MC. The member will lay down their cut in front of the MC and cut the Charter rocker from their cut to be burnt later. The MC will then take a vote on whether they will accept the member into their ranks. The individual will need a majority vote to be accepted, however if they are not then they will be known as a 'Lone Wolf' and will not be welcome at either the Charter they travelled from or the one they approached so it can be a massive risk.
