Tamara Winterthorn

Shadowlord Theurge

Tamara is an open book when it comes to her past.  She doesn't hide who she was from anyone if the questions are asked.  A woman who is as much at home with the upper crust of society as she is with the MC she calls family, she is always dressed impeccably and with a sense of fashion.  She was raised in a middle class home with her parents and her older sister.  Never really fitting in as a child, which has made some of the social transitions as an adult a bit difficult - even now.  It's no secret that she raised her niece Claire after her sister died in a car crash leaving the infant behind.  What most people don't know is that she was only 18 and she was in her final residency.  She had just had her firsting six months prior, and had to fight for custody of the little girl before she was put into foster care.  Tamara has always been tenacious when she wants something, and very protective - almost territorial about her family.

How she came to be with the MC is a dark comical adventure.  One she was not seeing the humor in when she first came across the group of uncooth bikers.  She was working in Chicago at the time, not connected to any one group of Garou.  Refusing to go that route again after her cub days.  She had engine problems and took her car into a shop that was recomended to her by a friend at work - only to find out the entire group of men working there were Garou.  Ooops.  Rob DiSilva was the Alpha of their group - she learned that it was a Charter of the MC: Hounds of Hell at a later date.  That first meeting was nerve wracking, but she left her car to be fixed.  Days later she arrived with her daughter and was told her car had been chopped for parts to pay for her membership into the MC.  Yes, it went over... like a lead balloon.  Trials and tribulations began there and have not stopped. After Chicago, and after being accepted as family, and claiming those rough men and their kin as her family in turn, she has been part of the Hounds MC.  Working as their Theurge, most often times, their only theurge to be found with the nomadic group.  She has been their spiritual leader, their midwife, their den mother, and for a few their actual mother.

Years ago, she and three others (Rachel, Carver, and Bren) took it upon themselves to raise the orphaned children of the MC.  Along with a handful of their own.  Bringing up those kids, living with her three friends, it was something she loved and will always cherish.  This was a time when she went back to work full time, when she had a family - and had love. Cherished... completely. And then, another series of unfortunate events occurred.  Leading her back on the road with her family.  Today she can be found as the Medic for the Charter she is with - however, unlike before when she was always around and being social... she has decided to keep to herself.  Her pale eyes still haunted from the months of pain that have passed - but, only those closest to her would see this, only those who know Tami through and through would know she's tired.  When she's out, she is warm - kind, and is willing to do just about anything to make those around her smile or help them enjoy their day - because, as tired as she is... she knows there'
s more to come.  More war, more fighting.  And Family... that's what makes it bearable.
